Movie Star Statistics… (con’t 2)

Continued post from Karate blog

According to AmIAnnoying.com, The top 10 actresses in entertainment for 2006 are, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Renée Zellweger, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie, Kirsten Dunst and Jennifer Aniston. What I wanted to know was how many of these 10 know martial arts? What discipline do they study? What have they used in film?

Ok so this will be the final continuation as I am tired now.

Angelina Jolie can’t be beat in role in the movie that takes it theme from one of the most popularizrd video games, Tomb Raider and as a voice over in Kung Fu Panda.

Angelina Jolie voiced a femme fatale fish in 2004’s “Shark Tale.” Now, she’ll portray a martial-arts master in the computer-animated comedy “Kung Fu Panda.”

The movie, which will reunite Jolie and Jack Black, her “Shark Tale” co-star, is slated for release in May 2008.

Jolie’s high-kicking character, Tigress, helps train Po, a slacker panda voiced by Black, in the art of kung fu, DreamWorks Animation SKG said in a statement Monday.

Po, a waiter in a noodle restaurant, must get into shape when he is revealed to be the “Chosen One” to save ancient China from powerful foes.

“Kung Fu Panda” will also feature the voices of Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman and Ian McShane.

Jolie, 31, stars opposite Matt Damon in “The Good Shepherd,” which opens Dec. 22. She gave birth to boyfriend Brad Pitt’s baby daughter, Shiloh, in May. courtesy of The Washington Post

But is all of it for real or just made to look real on film?

KARATE KID

Then there is second to last on our list, Kirsten Dunst, who was one of the leads in The Crow Salvation but never actualy did anything worth while which just leaves Brandon Lee to turn in his grave.

Lets not loose hope cause Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston wanted to look perfect for the Vanity Fair covershoot, so she hired a personal trainer, recommended by her best friend, former Friends co-star Courteney Cox.

The trainer, Shayne, who describes himself as a martial arts master, yoga teacher and lifestyle coach, is a Budokon expert. “By exploring the physical, emotional and spiritual body through movement, diet and meditation, the student works toward achieving truly sustainable health, wellness and personal power.”

He adds of Aniston: “She started with me last summer. But she’s a busy woman so she tries to get in when she’s in town.

I am not sure if that counts unless he his a martial arts master…describing yourself one way does not mean it. Yah she started last summer and went to one class (never been back since) LOL…but this does count
